What Students are Saying

Signing up for the Uncluttered course was one of the best decisions I’ve made.

The term life-changing gets thrown around a lot, but this course really is. I went into it with a lot of shame and anxiety. Joshua gently guided us in a way that made lasting change seem possible. My home is much improved, but my mindset is also clearer.

My credit card statement came today. $1,000.00 under my typical monthly balance! Thank you Uncluttered community. I’ve been at this for years; however, it’s clear I truly needed this group to get to that next level.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Uncluttered course cover?

During the 12 weeks of the Uncluttered Course, participants will declutter every “lived-in” area of their home (living room, dining room, bedrooms, closet, bathrooms, toy rooms, etc.), learning principles and ideas that can be applied to every area of their home. We also cover how to create clutterfree habits, how to experiment with less, how to overcome overshopping, and how to lovingly navigate complex family situations.

How long is the course, and what is the weekly time commitment?

The course is 12 weeks long. The material is released each week on Monday mornings. Participants log-in at a time convenient for them to view the material and begin the weekly challenge. There are three live webinars that happen during the course—but even those are recorded and made available immediately afterward for people who cannot attend the live event.

The weekly time commitment will vary based on a number of factors: a person’s starting point, how much they want to declutter, any physical limitations, and the specific week’s challenge. Typically, we encourage participants to plan 30-45 minutes to view/read the weekly material + 2-4 hours to complete the weekly decluttering challenge.

We will also mention that we speak often about “Lifetime Access” to the course. And that is true. Everyone who signs up for the course has lifetime access to the course materials to work through at their own pace.

Is the course suitable for complete beginners in decluttering?

Yes, even more, it is designed for beginners. If someone can declutter their home by simply reading a book, there is no need to sign-up for an online course. This course is designed for people who know they need more than a book—they want to ask questions, find support from others, receive consistent inspiration, or have weekly to-do items to complete. It is suitable for beginners and anyone who has tried decluttering but failed.

Can I join the course if I've already started decluttering?

Yes, certainly, that is a great question. Again, if you’re successful in decluttering without a course, there’s no need to sign up here (although you would still learn new skills beyond decluttering). But if you have started decluttering and are desiring more structure, more ideas, more motivation, or a place where you can ask questions and get new ideas, the Uncluttered Course would be a great fit.

Are there any live sessions, and will they be recorded?

There are three live sessions during the course. Yes, they are recorded. We also record weekly Q&A videos on Fridays during the course where participants can submit to me specific questions that arise in their home. Those are also recorded.

What kind of support will I receive during the course?

Our Customer Support responds to any Technical Needs at support@becomingminimalist.com within 24 hours. Decluttering questions can be asked any time, and we record a Q&A video each week of the course where we answer each of them.

How is this course different from other decluttering methods or courses?

For one, it is the most effective and efficient decluttering method available today. (The Becker Method). Second, because the course is offered cohort style, it provides a level of community encouragement and support that is unmatched. Third, all participants have direct access to Joshua to ask questions. Joshua is involved in every aspect of the course: He is active in the Facebook Community every day, hosting the webinars, and responding to questions each week.

What is the cost of the course, and are there any refunds or guarantees?

The course is $99 for Lifetime Access. Nothing more to pay ever. Yes, there is a full refund guarantee. If the course does not help you declutter your home, we will refund your money no questions asked.

Will I get lifetime access to the course materials?

Yes. In fact, participants can sign up for free to receive the weekly emails for future editions of the course if they desire. Sometimes life happens and we want everyone to be successful in this journey.

Is there a community for course participants?

Yes. There is a highly active (and daily monitored) private Facebook group. It is not required for participants, but it is helpful. There is no course content delivered in the Facebook group, but it is where the interaction between participants takes place.
